In an effort to warm its patients during the cold conditions, Pholosong Hospital served tea and sandwiches on July 9.
The hospital’s staff devoted a few hours to deliver the act of kindness as part of their ongoing ‘I serve with a smile’ campaign.
“Moments like these remind us of the power of kindness and compassion, and how even a small act can make a difference,” said commutations officer Nabela Masomane.
She encouraged the community to spread positivity, one cup at a time.
“We understand healing takes time in a multitude of ways and it begins as you enter our gates,” said Dr Hlomile Mlahleki, the acting CEO.
