Alyssa said performing on Broadway was difficult for her and that her daughter helped her through it.
“I’ve always been honest about the hard things in life,” she shared, “and there have been some days where I’ve just called her and cried about missing them but also about the work just being really challenging, and she has been my rock, like, ‘Yeah, some days are hard but you’ll get it, just hang in there.'”
She continued, “So I’m very grateful to her and my son, because my son is a very competitive baseball player and I don’t know how he goes out there and does what he does. And just to be able to look at my kids and say, well, they can do hard things and if they can do hard things, I can do hard things.”
