Congregants from churches in Tsakani gathered to play friendly games in tribute to two Tsakani residents who died in 2017.

The memorial games happened at Kwa-Thema Sports Complex on Friday. The congregants revealed that they meet every year to honour Sifiso Mphuthi and Thabiso Mthethwa.

Pastor Samuel Makoti revealed that the games are also a way to keep the youth off the streets.

“We want our youth to entrust God with their lives. Its important for children to grow up under the guidance of God and parents.

“These games are an encouragement to the youth to stay away from drugs and to live active lives,” he said.
