There are over 30 mini dumpsites across the city established to fight the scourge of the increasing illegal dumping spots.
Recyclable waste materials such as garden waste can be dumped at the city’s mini dumpsites, to avoid mixing it with domestic waste disposable at landfill sites which may cause the release of the harmful methane gas.
Only domestic waste placed inside the 240L wheelie bins will be collected by the refuse collection vehicles as per the refuse removal calendar.
Residents who still do not have their 240L wheelie bins are encouraged to visit their nearest waste management depots for assistance.
