Hilary Duff can attest that motherhood is what dreams are made of.
Even if, for her daughters, sisterhood doesn’t always feel that way. The Lizzie McGuire alum—who shares son Luca, 12, with retired NHL player Mike Comrie and daughters Banks, 6, Mae, 3, and Townes, 7 months, with husband Matthew Koma—gave a sneak peek into Banks’ diary. And if you’re an older sibling, you might just be able to relate.
“Ma sistr is the wrost,” Banks’ diary entry read, shamelessly shading her middle sister. And while the message was riddled with the most adorable misspellings, Hilary just had to share to her Dec. 12 Instagram Stories—even if that meant confessing to reading her daughter’s diary.
“Poor Mae getting dogged in Banks’ diary,” she wrote over the picture, admitting, “Yea I read it…”
Indeed, one may suspect that Banks picked up a thing or two from watching the stepsisters in A Cinderella Story. But Hilary recently revealed that her daughters have yet to even watch the iconic early aughts flick.
