Yo ho, yo ho, it’s a bartender’s life for Jack Depp.
As it turns out, Johnny Depp and his ex Vanessa Paradis‘ 22-year-old son had been quietly working as a server at L’Area, a Lebanese restaurant in Paris, for the last two years.
“Jack is a great guy,” owner Edouard Chueke told the Daily Mail in an interview published Dec. 7. “He keeps out of the limelight, but worked here behind the bar and in the kitchen.”
Though Jack left his job “a few months ago,” Edouard said he expects him to return next year.
“He was a good employee,” Edouard added. “Good staff are hard to find.”
Besides, Jack brought in a friendly crowd of regulars, including his 25-year-old sister Lily-Rose Depp, who followed their dad Johnny’s footsteps into acting.
“Lily was mixing Caipirinhas behind the bar and really getting into the swing of it,” Edouard recounted of a particular night the Idol actress came to visit the restaurant. “She was enjoying herself.”
