Lady Gaga is ready for the applause.
The “Born This Way” singer debuted an instantly iconic ensemble as she hit the red carpet for the world premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux at the Venice International Film Festival Sep. 4.
For the occasion, Gaga donned a black, low cut Christian Dior Haute Couture gown, featuring a full, pleated skirt. She paired the dress with Tiffany jewels: platinum and diamond earrings, a diamond necklace and a classic Tiffany Victoria bracelet.
But the pièce de résistance was her black Philip Treacy headpiece, complete with intricate lace designs and two points at the top, along with a beaded black bow.
By her side on the red carpet was fiancé Michael Polansky, whom Gaga confirmed her engagement to at the 2024 Paris Olympics in July, and Joker: Foie à Deux costar Joaquin Phoenix.
In the sequel to the Oscar-winning 2019 film, Joaquin reprises his role as Arthur Fleck, a.k.a. The Joker, as he finds love with Gaga’s Harley Quinn when the two meet at Gotham’s Arkham Asylum.
