Martha Stewart Confesses She Cheated on Ex-Husband Andy Stewart in Netflix Documentary
Martha Stewart‘s ex-husband had all the right ingredients for lovin’.
The media mogul confessed that she lost her virginity at age 19 to Andrew Stewart—whom she divorced in 1990 after over 25 years of marriage—and the experience was very positive.
“I had never slept with anybody before this,” Martha recalled in the Netflix documentary, Martha. “He was very aggressive, and I liked it.”
And Andrew–who shares daughter Alexis Stewart, 59, with the TV host—impressed his future wife in the beginning stages of their relationship in other ways as well. For one, Martha shared that the publisher’s wealth wowed her on their first date after they were set up by one of her Barnard College classmates.
“He picked me up in his little yellow Mercedes sedan,” Martha said. “I had never been in a Mercedes before.”
Noting that he also had an American Express credit card, which was a “very big deal at the time,” the 83-year-old continued, “It was exciting to meet a sophisticated young man.”
