Ree Drummond’s family welcomed a little dash of sweetness.
The Pioneer Woman star is now a grandma after her daughter Alex Drummond Scott and her husband Mauricio Scott welcomed their daughter Sofia Marie Dec. 18.
The Food Network host celebrated the moment with a picture of her and her husband Jeff Drummond sweetly gazing at little Sofia, who is seen nuzzled in her grandmother’s arms while swaddled in a blanket and sporting a big bow on her head.
“Our first baby had her first baby,” the 55-year-old wrote on Instagram Dec. 18. “Thank you Lord, we will never be the same.” Ree’s post included a snippet of The Judd’s hit song “Grandpa.”
Ree teased more images of her granddaughter via her Instagram Story. And in one slide, the television personality hilariously quipped that the hospital style that hasn’t changed.
Next to a picture of little Sofia sleeping while swaddled in the blanket with a big bow on her head, Ree wrote, “On a side note. How is it that the hospital swaddling blankets have this same foot pattern from 30 years ago.”
