Tsakani – U11, U12 and Legend teams played at the Green Point ground on December 7 in a tournament sponsored by the Simunye Men’s Club.
The game was in good spirits and ended fruitfully for Letsetele United with a score of 5-4. Coach Tisetso Mofokeng said the game went well; they played with potential and dedication.
“My team performed well; they played with focus and could strategise accordingly. They stayed in position, communicated well and our goalkeeper was strong enough to overcome every obstacle,” he said.
Ext 11 United coach Boy Mkhabela said the game did not go as anticipated. His team’s performance did not disappoint him because they showed enthusiasm and focus.
“Our goalkeeper made many mistakes, but that is part of learning. I will work on bettering his skills, focus and staying in position. I am glad they did their best, and the plan is to sharpen our skills,” he added.
The coaches thanked the club for sponsoring their tournament, adding they are empowering the children and encouraging them to do better.
