For her whole Eras Tour, Taylor Swift’s fans stayed in that lavender haze.
Over two years and 149 enchanting shows, the “Cruel Summer” singer’s international tour sold a whopping total of $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales—not including sales from the highly-coveted merchandise or online ticket resellers. And after exceeding $2 billion, the cultural phenomenon made history with double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour, per The New York Times.
Taylor marked the end of an era at her final show in Vancouver on Dec. 8, cherishing the moment with an emotional look back at the past two years.
“We have toured the entire world with this tour, we have had so many adventures,” the 34-year-old said at the sold-out show at BC Place stadium, “ it has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.”
Indeed, Taylor revealed the astonishing number of fans she had the pleasure of interacting with over the course of the 22-month tour.
