More Details Of Travis’ Pariee Arrest

French authorities report that Travis Scott landed himself in custody in Paris on Friday morning after a dispute with his bodyguard.

CNN reports that police responded to a call in the early hours of Friday, August 9, to break up a fight.

A police spokesman confirmed the arrest of the ‘Butterfly Effect’ artist for “violence against another person.”

According to PEOPLE, Scott allegedly attacked a security guard who tried to intervene in his altercation with his bodyguard at the George V Hotel.

Furthermore, a representative for Travis told CNN they are actively working with Parisian authorities to resolve this issue quickly.

“We are in direct communication with the local Parisian authorities to swiftly resolve this matter and will provide updates when appropriate,” Scott’s rep said.

Scott’s arrest comes just hours after photographers captured him attending Team USA’s basketball semifinal against Serbia during the 2024 Paris Olympics on Thursday, August 8.

Along with news about Travis’ arrest in Paris, bodycam footage from his June arrest in Miami has surfaced.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Miami-Dade County cops arrested Travis on June 20.

Now, officials have released bodycam footage from the day of his arrest. In the video obtained by TSR Travis pleads with officers for items he left behind. In the recording, the ‘I Know’ musician could be heard telling the cops that they “scare him.”

Additionally, another clip sees Scott trying to walk away, but police officers quickly grab him and handcuff him. He keeps asking them if he can retrieve a bag he left while they pat him down.
